He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Stitzlein and Ada Stitzlein (Richert); his wife Eleanore Hartwig; and his siblings, Fred, Paul, Doyle Stitzlein, Rosella Britenbucher, Ruth Stitzlein and Marguerite Kopp.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Stitzlein of Jeromesville, Richard Stitzlein (Lynn) of Ashland and David (Terry); his grandchildren, Joel Stitzlein (Hannah), Andrea Mutters (Will), Greta Kocher (Gabe) and Grant Stitzlein; and his great grandchildren, Gracelynn, George Kocher and James Koehlinger.
