She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Oxendine and Ada Oxendine (Pace); her husband Henry Coey; and her siblings, Mary Wheeler, Onal, Richard, Charles, Neil and Paul Oxendine.
She is survived by: her children, James Coey (Soni), Debbie Long, Dan Coey (Gindy), Bryan Coey (Ann), Betty Ann Rankin (Richard), Laura Coey and Amy Coey; and her grandchildren, Nathan, Ralph, Andrea, Aaron, Daniel, Amber, Sam, James, Rachel, Genelle, Henry and Grace. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
