The memory of William E. Thornton Jr. of Lore City, Ohio, who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Thornton Sr. and Esther Thornton (Reese); and his sisters, Robin Thornton, Jean Howell and Nancy Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Thornton (Daubenmeyer); his son Todd Thornton (Alicia) of Quaker City, Ohio; his siblings, George Thornton of Neffs, Ohio, Judith Leiffer of Bellaire and Linda Kay Thornton of Neffs, Ohio; and his granddaughter Courtney Thornton Gray (Justin) of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bundy-Law Funeral Home (120 N 11th St, Cambridge, OH 43725). A masonic service will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
