He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredric Major and Violet Ruth Lighty (Snider); his parents-in-law, Shirley W. and Dorothy M. Hickman; his brother Fredric "Ricky" Lighty Jr.; his grandson Clinton Lee Baker; his uncle Robert; his aunt Dorothy Madden; and his cousin John Edward "Jack" Parrot.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Victoria Lighty (Hickman); his children, Paul Lighty (Renee) of Lore City, Rachel Baker (Doug) of Cumberland and Melissa Lighty of Lore City; his grandchildren, Tiera Baker, D. Avery Baker (Lydia), Damion Starcher, Austin Lighty and Alexzander Starcher; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Baker, Tallie Baker, Gracelynn Lighty and Karson Lighty.
