He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Allen and Doris Allen (Wood); his former wife Margaret "Lou" Allen; his son Jeff Allen; and his siblings, Lorain Allen, Alice Mitchell and Lois Cronin.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce D. Allen (Mitchell); his children, Mark W. Allen (Vicki) of Lore City, Debbie Grant of Findlay, Brent Allen (Jill) of Lore City and David Allen (Lisa) of Zanesville; his stepchildren, Beth Schafer (Mike) of Urbana, Debbie Boylan (Matt) of Reynoldsburg and David Stillion (Misty) of Kipling; his grandchildren, Jennifer Grant, Clayton Allen (Tricia), Andrea Grant, Carly Grant, Alex Allen, Myranda Allen, Ethan McJessy (Megan) and Luke Allen; his stepgrandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Sylvis (Allie), Christopher Sylvis (Erica) and Paige Boylan; and his brother-in-law Jack Mitchell of Washington State. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren.
