He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Edward and Dorothea Hays; his daughter Deanna Hays; and his sister Dorothea Hartong. He is survived by: his wife Doris Dillion; and his children, Jay W. Hays of Alliance, James Hays (Andrea Ackerman) of Whitehouse, Jason Hays of Lordstown and Dory Lutz (Brian) of Carmel, IN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
