She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee V. Meddings and Carolyn Meddings (Vanek); her husband Paul L. Truax; her children, David Bruce Truax, Thomas L. Truax and Carolyn "Vicki" Truax; and her siblings, Eloise Lappert, Rosemary Elson, Sonny Meddings, David Meddings and Carol Shuhardt.

She is survived by: her children, Paul J. Truax (Lisa) of Martins Ferry and Teresa Schanz (Richard) of Lordstown; and her brother Thomas Meddings of Montana. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
