He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bailey and Dorothy Bailey (Hill); and his sister Phyllis Ann Curl (Keith). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Bowen; and his children, David Bailey (Marian), Diane Johnstone (Charles) and Janice Molnar (Mark). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family asks that any material contributions be made in his memory to Lordstown Lutheran Church.
