He is survived by : his wife Josephine Maldonado; his children, Eugenia "Gina" Celestino, Patience Colon (Joey) and Sixto Garcia III; his grandchildren, Marissa, Nico, Lorenzo "Reno", Sixto IV, Alexis "Lexi", Ryan, Sarah, Madisson, Tiarra and Camryn; and his siblings, Carmen Navarro, Saul Maldonado Sr. and Hiram Maldonado.
