He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Hernandez and Carmen Torres; and his brother Julio Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hernandez (Hobbs); his children, John Morris (Christine), Angela Thacker (Thomas) and Brooke Colon; and his siblings, Johnny Hernandez, Mildred Perez-Ybarra, Sylvia Colon and Roberto Hernandez. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
