He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Elnora Carroll; and his parents, Warner Ruben and Mary Carroll. He is survived by: his children, Suzan Carroll-Decker (Kevin) of Fleming, Ohio, William Carroll (Wanda Thompson) of Elyria, Melissa Rust (Bryan) of Elyria, Lora Carroll (Nestor) of Lorain, David Carroll (Kelly) of Lorain, Rose Mazzucco (James) of Elyria and Adam Carroll of Lorain; and his siblings, Lonnie Carroll of Grafton, John Henry Carroll of Moundsville, Twila Fordyce of Moundsville, Alice "Millie" Carroll of Moundsville, Josephine Pyles of Moundsville and Lois Gorby of Elyria. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
