With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tomas Velez of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Mildred Velez; his parents, Sixto Velez and Maria Velez; and his siblings, Rosa, Maria, Carmen, Confessor, Luis and Antonio.

He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Honis of Wooster, Marian "Nana" Velez of Lorain, Sandra Plaza of Granville and Ada Velez of Granville; and his grandchildren, Jazmin Raulerson of Jacksonville, Jessica Currey of Waynesburg, Josue "Jay" Plaza of Morgantown, Shonda Plaza of Morgantown and Essie Pulliam of Morgantown. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.
