He is survived by: his wife Marcia Szep; his daughters, Triana Szep of Youngstown, Jennifer Szep of Sandusky and Kaelee Szep of Ft Worth, Texas; his granddaughters, Annie Smarr, Sarah Smarr and Leah Szep; his siblings, Edward A. Szep II of Plano and Michelle Mendoza (Rogelio) of Charlotte; his nephew Taylor Mendoza (Laura) of Pennsylvania; and his friend Al Branham of Amherst.
