It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore Edward Sawyer of Lorain, Ohio, born in Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Sawyer and Phyllis Sawyer; his former wife Connie; his siblings, Bonnie Stevanus and Donald "Pete" Sawyer; and his brother-in-law Wally Waldo.

He is survived by: his wife Victoria; his siblings, Cindy Carter (Don) of Lodi, Jane Waldo of Woodstock, GA, David Sawyer (Juanita) of Amherst, Rick Sawyer (Diane) of Westfield Center, OH and Ron Sawyer (Lori) of Tampa, FL; his brother-in-law Bob Stevanus of Spencer, OH; his son Richard (Myra); his grandchildren, Brianna, Diamond, Hailey, Brittney, Richard, Greyson and Olivia; and his siblings-in-law, George and Ann Spearnock.

Donations in memory of Ted can be directed to American Kidney Fund or the National Kidney Foundation.
