He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mawson and Mary E. West; and his significant other Mae Kovach. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mawson (Janine) of Lorain, Timothy Mawson (Lynn) of South Amherst, Adam Mawson (Casey) of Elyria and David Mawson (Stephanie) of Amherst; his grandchildren, Alex Mawson, Trenton Mielcarek, Marla Mawson, Harrison Mawson, Grant Green and Isabella Hostler; and his brothers, Don Mahon of Medina and James Arthur Mawson of Kentucky.
