He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Buckley and Beverly Buckley; and his siblings, Glynda Harrison and Harold Buckley. He is survived by: his children, Hayden E., Rachel E. and Samantha J.; his siblings, Deborah Benevento (Duke), Dana Fernengel (Dennis), Gary Buckley (Mary Kay) and Eugenie "Duffy" Matus (Frank); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Buckley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
