She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernardino Vargas and Iluminada Reyes; and her stepsiblings, Silvestre Robledo, Pablo Robledo, Amador Robledo, Confesora Robledo and Mercedes Robledo.
She is survived by: her husband Americo Torres Lugo; her sons, Angel L. Lugo of Ponce, Puerto Rico and Luis A. Lugo of Lorain; her siblings, Damian Vargas of New York, Felicita Torres, Ana Lydia Figueroa and Puerto Rico; and her stepsister Santa Rodriguez of Lorain.
