He is survived by: his children, Quentin Burkes, Jasmine Whitfield and Frank Whitfield (Kaleena); his granddaughters, Quoreya (Mahleek), Octavia, Aniya, Sophia, Eliza and Delila; his great grandchildren, Anomi and Aura Prendergast; his siblings, Luticia Ann Whitfield, Joanne Moon, Martha "Jane" Beard, Steve D Whitfield and Olivia Whitfield; and his stepchildren, Cornelius Carey, Sie Carey (Sparkle), Carlos Johnson, Tynisa Johnson (Kieth) and Carneia Gibson (Lavell). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
