He was predeceased by: his father Henry "Kenny" Cleveland; and his stepfather John "Sam" Whitfield. He is survived by: his mother Sally Thorn Whitfield; and his siblings, Sally Whitfield of Virginia, Terry Cleveland of California, Gary Monticue of New York and Johnathan Whitfield Sr. of Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
