He is survived by: his parents, Sheri Kay of Black Mountain, N. C. and Roy F. Kay of Marietta; his spouse Jamie D. Krantz of Columbia Station; his daughter Jaelyn Kay of Toledo; his brother Cory Kay of Black Mountain, N. C.; and his grandmother Sheila Evenchik of Lorain.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lifebanc, the organization that supported Shaun and his family through the entire donation process.
