He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Dan and Virgil Singleton; and his stepfathers, John Dan and Voris McMillen. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy and Mary Ann Singleton; his stepbrother Bill "Will" McMillen; and his friend James Pember of Rhode Island.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association National Office, 161 N. Clark Street, Suite 3550, Chicago, IL 60601.
