He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Hilliard; his parents, Gertrude Sadler and Lanier; and his sisters, Rose Sadler and Lula Flowers.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Hilliard (Bridget) and Evelyn Hilliard of Lorain; and his grandchildren, Joseph Thomas (Casey) of Lorain Paris, Nicole Hilliard of Lorain and Tyra Hilliard of Lorain. He is also survived by several nieces and other loving relatives.
