He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Alice Marie; his grandson Kyle Miller; his siblings, Gerald Whitney, Gene Baumert and Jeanette Kish; and his son-in-law Mike Stammitti.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Baumert; his children, Dawn Zakrajsek of Huron, Stephanie Stammitti of Huron and James Baumert of Elyria; his grandchildren, Ryan Zakrajsek (Marissa), Jaime Zakrajsek (Ron Pavlovic) of Brookpark, Breanne Zakrajsek of Huron, Nicholas Canterbury of Huron, Matt Baumert (Kirsten) of Grafton and Caitie Baumert of Elyria; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Reid and Mari; and his sister Darlene Wilhelms of Cape Coral, Florida..
