He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Tressel; his parents, Joseph J Tressel and Theresa Tressel; and his siblings, Lawrence, Raymond Tressel, Bernice Todarello, Vivian Greenfield and Joan Crawford.
He is survived by: his children, David Tressel (Amy) of Cedar Rapids, Jefferey Tressel (Pam) of Flat Rock, Anthony Tressel (Bobby Jo) of Elgin and Barbara Tressel-Bangas (Tony) of Amherst; his grandsons, Jonathon Tressel (Bora) of Charlotte, Steven Tressel (Mandy) of Marion and Nicholas Bangas of Lorain; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Asher and Nolan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
