He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Betzel and Stella Betzel. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Jackie Betzel-Conrad, Karalynne Vitas (Mark), Kristin Cortez (Jesse) and John Betzel (Ruth Keller); his adoptive daughter Cecilia Peasley; his siblings, Louis Jr. (late Gail) and Nancy Miller (Ron); and his significant other Bear. He is also survived by several cousins, many nieces and nephews.
