He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Masters and Ida Masters; and his brother David Masters (Doris). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Masters; his daughters, Laura Davidson (Chris) of Maryland and Lisa Masters of Elyria; his grandchildren, Sean, Jenna, Kiera Davidson and Katie Koch; and his nephew David Masters (Brenda) of Lorain.
