He is survived by: his children, Richard Burroughs, Jr. of Lorain and Faith Smith of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Justice Burroughs, Richard Burroughs Ill of Lorain, Cyrenauti Burroughs of Cleveland, Rae'kwon Smith of Akron, Ja'corey Aiken of Greensboro, A'nnaryon Aiken of Greensboro, Ty'kell Smith of Greensboro and Thomas Smith of Greensboro; his siblings, Dorothy Evans-Herring, Aldrenna Smith (Ricky), Marilyn Thomas (George), Lenise Moore of Lorain, Edith Fields of Waveland, Rosetta Alexander of Buffalo, Melvin Moore, Jeffrey Moore, Sr., Anthony Moore of Lorain and Lafaye Moore of Lakeland, Florida; and his stepsister Shirley Ann Valentine-Davis (David Moore) of Dallas. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
