He is survived by: his son Holy Spirit; his wife Carletta Knowles Dunlap; his children, Vanessa Smith (Andy) of Denver, CO, Vicky Gaines (Eric) of Oberlin, Valerie Rogers (Richard) of Elyria, Vernita Warfield (Ryan) of Lorain, Richard Dunlap, Jr. (Cheryl) of Los Angeles, CA, Bruce F. Dunlap, Jerome A. Dunlap, Aaron J. Dunlap (Lonnie) and Pete Martinez (Lois) of Lorain; his siblings, Donald Dunlap (Maxine), Leroy Dunlap (Cleo) of Lorain, Jerry Dunlap of Colorado Springs, CO, Betty Jennings of Cleveland, Dale Dunlap of Grand Rapids, MI, Candy Lunn and Linda Wyrick (Walter) of Lorain; and his uncle Jimmy Holliman (Allie) of Oberlin. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
