She was predeceased by: her parents, George Black and Mary Smith; her stepfather Luther Grinston; her sons, Joseph Taylor Sr., Morgan "Butch" Taylor and Robert Smith; and her brothers, Willie Smith and Tony Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Isaiah Taylor (Pam) of Lorain, Marcella Casey Smalley (Thomas), Sherdenia Strnad of Sheffield, Maryann Wyrick of Lorain, Charmain Taylor of Lorain, Bernetta Geiger of Lorain and Juanita Mosley of Florida. She is also survived by 47 grandchildren and 300+ great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.
