He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Cash and Sylvia Cash; his wife Gwendolyn Hopkins; his children, Reginald Cash (Tokeya), Eric Johnson (Lakeithian), Rochelle Carter (Allan), Tiara Dionne Cash and Tonia Jordan (Jamone); his grandchildren, Kejanay, Deltrin, Mariah, Amber, Kayla, Katelyn, Marissa, Jerve, Jazmere of Tonnia, AJ, Allantay, Jennay and Nalej; his great grandchildren, Raylan, Lived, Tamari and Dior; his brothers, Anthony, Philip, Malcolm, Emmanuel and Quinn; his brother-in-law Andre Jenkins; and his siblings, Janice, Bonita Hunter, Vanessa Hunter, Samuel A. Cash Sr. and Danny Gregory Cash. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins who were like brothers and sisters, and aunts and uncles.
