She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Davis; her parents, Arthur Hicks Sr. and Mabel Goosby; her children, Cecilia Auston, Marsha Thompson and Hubert G Thompson; and her siblings, Author Hicks Jr., Louise Frisby and Harriet Bagby.
She is survived by: her sons, Cornell Thompson and Gary Thompson; and her stepchildren, Marlene Jackson, Anthony Davis, Earl Davis and Rueben Davis. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and many other loving relatives and friends.
