It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis J. Shunka of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Vincent Shunka; her parents, Nicholas Dario and Josephine Dario; and her sister Dora Witten. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Ann Shunka (Denise Porter) of Lorain and Rick Shunka (Mika) of San Diego; her granddaughter Anela Sakamoto of San Diego; her brother Nicholas Daddario of Flushing; and her sister-in-law Sandra Zaborniak of Elyria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
