It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Petronilla Thomas-Nazario of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Elizabeth Smith; her husband Jose Nazario; and her siblings, John Adams, Albert Smith, Joe Smith and Ruth Pugh.

She is survived by: her children, Rodney L. Thomas Jr. (LePreece) of Lorain, Minister Jason A. Thomas (Tanika) of Lorain and Devin Thomas of Lorain; her stepmother Doris Smith of Detroit; and her siblings, Anne Cogborn of Alabama, Alberta Francis of Lorain, Gladys Taylor of Lorain, Jewel Carlton of Lorain, Shawn Smith of Detroit and Ondrakus Smith of Detroit. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
