She was predeceased by: her husband Steve D. Vancs; her son Christopher Vancs; her parents, Harry Mazurek and Julia Mazurek; and her brother Donald Mazurek.
She is survived by: her children, Steve of Elyria, Dan (Lisa) of Avon, Terese Simpkins of Lorain, Beth Santana (Richard) of Lorain, Jane Rieke of Lorain and Stefani Vancs (Sharon Boothe) of Lorain; and her sister Jeanne Holley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
