The memory of Patricia B. Clarkson of Lorain, Ohio, born in Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2024 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Pauline Cooper and Donald K. Cooper; her husband James P. Clarkson; her stepmother Polly Cooper; her son Tim Mackey; her siblings, Kay Cooper, Gary Cooper, William'Bill'Cooper and Richard'Dick'Cooper; her siblings-in-law, Nora Cooper and Dave Halterman; and her grandson Timmy Mackey.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Tim Clarkson, Paula Hamm and Julie Stobinski; her sister Bonnie Halterman; her sister-in-law Betty Cooper; her grandchildren, Russell Willis (Chris), Jeremy Willis (Brigit), John Willis (Elizabeth), Heather Willis Jaratz (Dave), Jaime Hull, Carrie Hull Crow (Brad), Emily Hull Tiffany Gumpf (Nate Bevaque), Lindsey Gumpf McKinney (Steve), Hannah Azok and Corey Azok; and her close friend Frank Azok. She is also survived by six step grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Amherst United Methodist Church or to the UMW group at the church to be applied toward their mission work.
