He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Hill Sr. and Clemmie Hill; and his siblings, Lonnie Hill Jr., Miles Hill, Tressa Hill and Lydia Hill.

He is survived by: his wife Miriam "Mogi" Hill; his children, Oscar Hill Jr. and Myra Hill of Lorain; his grandsons, Oscar Hill III of Lorain, Jayden Hill of Lorain and Jordyn Kimbrough of Lorain; his sister Cecilia Hill of Detroit, MI; his niece Diedre Hill of Cleveland, OH; and his nephews, Derrick Hill of Lorain, Dwayne of Detroit, MI, Lucas of Detroit, MI, Yuri of Detroit, MI and Darius Hill of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other loving relatives.

“First of all I would like offer my sincere condolences to Oscar's family and to all that loved him. I remember Oscar from Lorain High School as such a fun, friendly and just a good kid and I can see he carried it on as a man in all aspects of his adult life. My fondest memory with Oscar was, our wrestling matches prior to our Mechanical Drawing class and I had the unfortunate pleasure of being Oscar's opponent every afternoon and yes I lost, most of the time. Roll on "Big O" and RIP”
