With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nelma Mesenger (Lorain, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nelma left this world on February 10, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cales and Laura Cales; and her siblings, Edith Vivian McCormick, Norena Wood, Paul Cales and Jennings Cales.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Jene Mesenger; her children, Jeannine S. Misch (Mike), Terry A. Zimmerman (Gary) and Robin L. Mesenger; her sister Freda Cales; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, Heather and Meghan. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home (2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052). A prayer was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ridge Hill Memorial Park (44805 N Ridge Rd, Amherst, OH 44001). A procession was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
