Mercedes Badillo Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2023, at the age of 90, Mercedes Badillo (Lorain, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Catalina and Domingo; and her parents, Juan López and Petronila López. She is survived by: her husband Tomás; her children, Elcida Palacios (Juan) of Lorain, Norma Malone (Robert) of Avon, Francisco (Matilde) of Glen Allen, VA, Javier (Natale) of Amherst, Ana Rhyner (Patrick) of Quakertown, PA, Mercedes Szuch (Frank) of Elyria and Yolanda Maldonado (Marcos) of Lorain; her siblings, Aurelia, Ana, Lucy, Marcelo of Puerto Rico, Julio of Puerto Rico and Hiram of Puerto Rico; and her caregivers, Mercedes and Jailin of Fraternal Healthcare. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those who wish may make donations in Mercedes' name to Sacred Heart Chapel.
