It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Ann Castillo of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Dawn Ward; her parents, Pedro Castillo and Jolan Castillo; her siblings, Melanie Thomas-Castillo and Meredith Castillo; her siblings-in-law, Amanda Thomas-Castillo, Bethany Westphal, Gabrielle and Matt Sorensen; her nieces and nephews, Van Thomas-Castillo, Rebecca Sorensen, Andrew Sorensen and Patrick Sorensen; and her parent-in-law Stacy Westphal. She was also cherished by her family, friends and coworkers.
