He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Sanchez and Maria DeGracia Valadez; and his brothers, Felipe Sanchez-Valadez and Ambrosio Sanchez-Valadez. He is survived by: his wife Fortuna Sanchez-Manrique; his children, Benjamin Sanchez, Jose A. Sanchez (Sandra), Felipe Sanchez (Soyla), Matilde Sanchez, Alejandra Cuthbert (Brad), Angelica Sanchez and Maria Hernandez (Manuel); and his brother Manuel Sanchez-Valadez. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
