She is survived by: her children, Edward McCarthy of Cleveland, Barbara Hooks (James) of Elyria and Rhonda Pettie (Anthony) of Lorain; and her siblings, Ruthanne Royster (James) of New York, Dea Allen Tarpley (Mary) of Lorain, Namon Tarpley (Linda) of Lorain and Raymond Tarpley of Lorain. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
