He is survived by: his former wife Shelle Mathis; his children, Martel Mathis, Monique Mathis and Alaina Monet Mathis; and his siblings, Selby Mathis (Wade), Peter Mathis, Vedriane Voorhies, Mary Mathis and Diane Mathis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
The service is limited to 25 people due to COVID-19 guidelines.
