She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Anna; her brother Patrick Murphy; and her brother-in-law Dwain Houston. She is survived by: her daughters, Deatra Kopis, Darla Gerace (Leonard), Dawn Redmond (Keith) and Deborah Bryant (Shawn Rinker); her son-in-law Charles Kopis; her grandchildren, Brenden Kopis (Katy), Breanna Dull (Brian), Vincent Gerace (Amber), Nicholas Gerace (Lexi), Landyn Sito (Jack), Monica Gerace (Naomi), Tyler Redmond, Murphy Redmond, Tanner Redmond (Sophia), Lukas Redmond (Maddy), Cameron Bryant (Brittany), Collin Bryant (Allison) and Kenadee Bryant (Sarah); her siblings, Margaret Houston and Michael; her sisters-in-law, Diane Murphy and Rosemarie Murphy; and her in-laws, Ken, MaryJo Kamnikar, George, Sally Bescak, Tim and Nancy Breeden. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home (2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052). A prayer was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (309 W 7th St, Lorain, OH 44052). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (555 N Ridge Rd, Lorain, OH 44053).
