She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel DiFrancesco and Elizabeth DiFrancesco; her husband Bernard L. Giardini; her siblings, Domenic DiFrancesco and Lenora Martinelli; and her granddaughter Paige.

She is survived by: her children, Anthony Giardini, Paulette Smith, Sandra Giardini and Jean Nazario; and her sisters, Ann Dworznik, Rita DiFrancesco and Edith Foster. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations be made in Marietta's memory to the Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
