She is survived by: her husband Bennie Payne; her children, Virginia "Ginger" Cruz, Ruvena "Cookie" Brown, Linda "Bonnie" Smith, Bennette Thomas (Ricky), Mary Evelyn Nixon (Allen), Barry Payne and Dean Payne (Charity); her sisters, Thomasena Dais, Alice Williams and Eddie Pringle; and her pet Lisa. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
