She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Ortiz Molina and Ramona Lugo Nasario. She is survived by: her husband Carmelo Rosa Fonseca; her stepchildren, Carmelo Fonseca Jr. Brenda Fonseca, Sandra Farley, Mary Gaines, Raymond Fonseca, Elizabeth Cordasci and William Fonseca; and her siblings, Margarita Ortiz Deleon, Gladys Ortiz Lugo, Mary Luz Ortiz, Angel Luis Ortiz Lugo and Daniel Ortiz Lugo Jr.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
