She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Cox and Gussie Johnson Cox; her husband Albert Young Sr; and her siblings, Willie M Cox and Clarence Cox Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Larry Cox (Evonne) of Elyria, Albert Young Jr (Demetria), Michael Young of Lorain, Cathy Young Duncombe of Lorain and Linda Young. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-law and friends.
