He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Tribulcio Serrano; his wife Carmen Serrano; his children, Lissette Doughty (Levictus), Pedro Marin (Sarah), Luis Serrano Jr. (Heather), Hector Curbelo, Elizabeth Curbelo-Robles (Arthur Summers), Grace Curbelo and Zu-Lee Walker (Adrian); and his siblings, Lorenzo Serrano, Lydia Torres and Doris Maldonado.
