He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Velasquez; his sons, Louis J. Velasquez (Terri) of Lorain, Michael A. Velasquez (Lisa) of Lorain, Charles A. Velasquez of Lorain and John A. Velasquez of Lorain; his grandchildren, Jackie Prosak (Ben) of Lorain, Natalie of Lorain, Anthony of Lorain, Collin A. of Lorain, Brandon of Lorain and MaKayla Velasquez of Lorain; his great grandchildren, Nicholas and William Prosak; and his siblings, Christina Rios of Ft Worth, Joseph Velasquez of Orlando, Rosario "Rosie" Epps of Charlotte, Thomas Velasquez of Seattle, Theresa Velasquez of Seattle, Mary McBride of Ft Worth, Raphael Velasquez of Columbus, David Velasquez of Miami, Julia Ann Taylor of Texas, Peter Velasquez of Columbus and Guadalupe Velasquez of Columbus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
