She was predeceased by: her close friend Veronica Austin of Brunswick, OH; her husband Samuel "Sam" Taylor; her daughter Deborah Valentine-Southerland; her parents, Julia Mae Valentine and Ivory Huston Valentine; and her brother James Valentine.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Junior" Curry of Lorain, Kevin Curry (Michele) of Stafford, VA, John Curry (Cleo) of Smyrna, TN and Hkein "Man" Cavin (Kristen) of Elyria, OH; her grandchildren, Shontea "Teea" Ford, Maurice "Reecie" Johnson, Julia "Treece" Johnson, Ashley Curry, William Curry III, Caleb Perry, Brittaney Curry, Samuel "Manny" Curry, Makayla Curry, Maleea Curry, Sharikah Curry, Kevin "Chevy" Curry II, Danielle "Danny" Tucker (Peter), Sydney Curry, John Curry II, Alindzia "Lindzy" Frazier (Justin), Malik Curry, Kaivon Curry, Jmarrion "Mar-Mar" Curry, Javonte Curry, Hakeem "Man-Man" Cavin Jr., Courtney Cavin, Hassani Tucker, Danah Ewing and Aiyanna "Yaya" Cavin; her brother Ernest Valentine of Elyria; and her niece Cassandra "Cassie". She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren.
